Zupan's Markets is a family-owned neighborhood gourmet grocer serving the Portland metro area with food and wine from local and global sources.

RETAIL GRAPHICS

As the in-house graphic designer, I created all things graphically needed for each store following the established brand standards. The needs were as diverse as product photography, truck graphics, online and print advertisements, in-store signage, packaging, event graphics, and window signage.

Special marketing and events allowed for a step outside the Circle Z product brand.

INDULGE MAGAZINE

Tasked with updating the graphic template for the in-store publication distributed at Zupan's Markets I took the standard, jammed full of products, in-store freebie to new heights. With a new high-end food-centric focus ushered in by the Marketing Director, I introduced higher style with new type faces, a streamlined color palette, and a grid that allowed for additional breathing room between text and images.

THE WINE CELLAR

During my tenure at Zupan’s a private dining room was built in the basement of the Burnside location. The space became a beautiful wine cellar where higher end, yet relaxed events and gatherings would be held. I fashioned the initial logo design, directed the photo shoot, and created the outreach mailer and business cards for this special place.
